The Goddess Sekhmet with her son Nefertem

 

From Mother to Son

In this work the Goddess Sekhmet hands her own key of life to her son Nefertem. This symbolises the passing of Feminine Magic into masculine hands - Seichem is essentially a feminine energy, my Master Candidate was masculine. I linked my connection to both Australia and Singapore (my birthplace) with the flowers - orchids for Singapore, bottlebrush and wattle for my beloved Australian home.
